A lean trainer and coach with experience across a broad range of sectors and organisations.
Mark has been providing lectures to LUBS students on Supply Chain and Operations Management since 2011.
Outside he provides consulting and training in the fields of performance improvement and lean management. Projects often include working directly with staff from the shop floors, with supervisors, through to Managing Partners and Board members. These are delivered across a range of departments in law firms, manufacturing companies, call centres and service companies.
His main interests at this point in time include Lean Management as it applies in Manufacturing and Industrial Services, Legal Firms and Finance Teams.
He’s provided materials for Sheffield Hallam LawSync ™ modules and developed lean training solutions for the, Business Advantage Course, a global management training course distributed via Cambridge University Press.
His experience in service organisations has led to contributions to operations management text on waste and efficiency improvement. These contributions focussed on departments including Marketing, Back Office Administration & call centres.
Marks insights into productivity improvement and Lean Management within the Legal Sector have been published regularly since 2010. In 2014 provided material for the publication, Lean Six Sigma for Law Firms, published by the ARK Group.
Mark has a Masters degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management and qualifications in Direct Marketing.
