Economics Department

Economics Department

The Economics Department represents policy-relevant, realistic and pluralistic research. We address real-world challenges through our research and promote a wide range of perspectives.

Our teaching

We are a vibrant department with a tradition for teaching economics that is current, innovative, realistic, policy-relevant and pluralistic. Our programmes combine a core of technical skills with a range of research-informed specialisms. We support students to become independent, critical thinkers prepared for employment and further study.
