I joined the Leeds University Business School as a Teaching Fellow in Banking & Finance in September 2014. Prior to this, I was a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh. My PhD thesis focused on the impact of paying CEOs with 'debt' on bank risk-taking in the US. One of the papers drawn from my PhD has been published in the Journal of Banking & Finance, for which I was also awarded the 'David Hume PhD Publication Prize'.
