Dr James Adeniji

I have a varied educational experience across business, with first and second degrees in Accounting and Finance, and a doctorate in Marketing – which included a significant exploration of organizational psychology themes and phenomena. Following a recent four year stint as a retail analyst with a large UK pureplay, I have expanded my academic interests to include retailers’ digital and online strategies and how these influence consumers’ behaviors online. I am always eager to collaborate with academics and practitioners alike around my key research interests of technology and retail strategy.

Research interests

  • Technology and Organizations: impact of individuals’ technology use on perceptions of stress and workplace attitudes and performance.
  • Retail Strategy: retailers’ online and digital strategies and impact on consumer behavior.

  • PhD Marketing, University of Leeds, UK
  • MSc International Accounting & Finance, University of Strathclyde, UK
  • BBA (Accounting), University of Oklahoma, USA
