Ning Lu came from China to complete his PhD in the UK.

His working research is in the area of Big Data and how this can be used to explore ethical consumption.

"I came to the University of Leeds because there is a huge opportunity to do Big Data research. Big Data is about the data we generate becoming faster, larger in size, and more importantly it's about the variety of the data, not just about the numbers."
