In June, Leeds University Business School, in association with Goldman Sachs (Foundation) won the EFMD Excellence in Practice Award. The Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Businesses Programme was selected as a most outstanding entry.
Leeds University Business School recently received the Award from Richard Straub, Director of Corporate Services and EU Affairs for the EFMD, at the 2012 EFMD Executive Education Conference which was held from the 3rd to 5th October at the Instituto Internacional, San Telmo, Seville.
The award of excellence in practice was made on those judged to have submitted case studies demonstrating effective and impactful learning and development interventions in the areas of leadership, professional, talent or organisation development.
Rob Whieldon (Corporate Development Director), Susanne Marchant (Corporate Relations and Projects Manager, Deepak Jayaraman (Executive Director, Office of Corporate Engagement, Goldman Sachs), and Sarah Hackett (Office of Corporate Engagement, Goldman Sachs) presented their case study to an audience representing Business Schools and Corporate Clients from 23 countries.
