CERIC Migration Workshop

CERIC Migration Workshop 17th-18th July 2025, University House, University of Leeds.

This two-day workshop held in University House on the University of Leeds campus will be launched with a keynote by one of the world’s leading migration scholars, Professor Brenda Yeoh from National University of Singapore. The workshop is designed to promote discussion with a global network of migration researchers, showcasing nine ongoing research projects across the University with a migration theme:

•    Migration, exploitation and sanctuary
•    Working in warehouses
•    Seasonal migrant workers
•    Skills4Justice
•    LIMITS – post Brexit migration
•    Migration and human supply chains
•    The making of forced abour
•    ASEAN labour migration 
•    Detention economies

There will be opportunities for networking to encourage developing further transnational collaboration in migration research.
