On Wednesday 20 June 2018 we held our annual CERIC Doctoral Conference (#CERICphd2018), organised by CERIC doctoral researchers Felix Schulz, Lydia Suleh and CERIC Associate Fellow Antonios Panagiotakopoulos.
The day began with a keynote on the Gig Economy by Professor Chris Forde. This was followed by a diverse programme and stimulating range of high quality papers on the conference theme of ‘Inequalities in the Workplace’. Topics included: disability and employment, workplace stress, pay inequality and skills. 30 researchers attended the conference from institutions across the UK.
