Rich Hall, PwC
Rich works within PwC's Northern Business Risk Assurance team leading the development and delivery of Sustainability and Climate Change work across the Northern practice. Rich has over twenty years multi-discipline, cross sector experience with the bulk of his career spent within the Finance and Engineering sectors, Rich has spent time tackling the challenges of the low carbon agenda from different angles.
Immediately prior to joining PwC Rich was a Director at CO2Sense Yorkshire, Yorkshire Forward’s vehicle for sustainable strategy and delivery within the region. His role, first as Director of Carbon Action Yorkshire and more latterly Director of Development, has seen Rich work over many critical issues including adaptation, risk and impacts to value chains, leadership skills, carbon management and carbon trading.
He has worked with some of the North’s largest organisations across both the Private and Public sectors and spoken at major events within the UK and EU. Prior to his work at CO2Sense Yorkshire, Rich was General Manager of the University of Hull Logistics Institute, working with organisations to improve bottom line performance and develop sustainable strategies across organisational Supply Chains.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and an Alumnus of the University of Cambridge Climate Leadership Programme and holds an Executive MBA
