I am an exchange student from City University of Hong Kong and I enjoyed my stay at Leeds. I live in Central Village, which is located right beside the campus and close to the city centre, and the super convenient environment made my stay a decent one.
I’ve been to lots of places in UK, the rail service is really convenient, especially with a 16-25 railcard, with which I can get 33% off for any purchase. Also, Leeds is located just in the center of the UK, so I can go anywhere without a long distance to travel. I’ve met lots of international students here and I believe that I will still keep in touch with them after I leave the UK.
I’ve enrolled in four modules in the Business School, and I find it worth devoting time to them. This is especially the case for the seminars as we are required to read a lot of essays and news articles about the application of the knowledge that we’ve learned in lectures. In addition, in seminars we’ll have group discussions with classmates and this allows me to hear from peers about their opinions of different issues.
All in all, I strongly recommend the study abroad programme at the University of Leeds.
