Description
The ESRC Centre for Digital Futures at Work – Digit – aims to produce new evidence that can inform policymakers, businesses, trade unions and third-sector organisations.
Through our research-policy-practice forum, the Digit CoLab, we prioritise ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders in the digital work ecosystem. This both informs our research programme and enables stakeholders to benefit from emerging insights from our research.
A wider programme of events, briefings, blogs and engagement with stakeholders supports our ambition to inform current debates about the future of work.
Funding
Digit is funded by the UKRI Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). Established in 2020 with a five-year Centre grant, Digit was awarded a further 5 years funding (2025-2029) to study the UK’s emerging digital work ecosystem.
