“Since graduating, my career has evolved from business development into strategic leadership. I currently serve as Deputy General Manager and Head of Strategy and Planning at Union Bank of Nigeria, where I lead strategic initiatives that drive organisational transformation and long-term business growth.
Over the past two decades, I have held senior leadership positions at Union Bank of Nigeria, Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria and Guaranty Trust Bank Nigeria, working across strategy and planning, relationship management, business development and debt capital markets. Throughout my career, I have worked with multinational organisations and major corporate clients, leading strategic programmes, developing high-performing teams and delivering sustainable business growth.
Alongside my career in banking, I am an internationally credentialed life coach and remain passionate about leadership development. I have served on the board of the International Coaching Federation Nigeria Charter Chapter and continue to support individuals and organisations through coaching and strategic leadership.
I also continue to give back to Leeds University Business School as the alumni network group leader for Nigeria, helping alumni stay connected with one another and with the Business School.
Looking back, the MBA gave me far more than technical knowledge. The practical projects, international learning environment and opportunity to work with people from different cultures strengthened my communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Those experiences continue to influence the way I lead teams and approach strategic challenges today.”
