How did you hear about the Business School and why did you choose to study here?

I was already working as a Consultant and wanted to continue my studies in the consulting field. My online research showed that the University of Leeds offered this course and the proposed content was strong and diverse.

What are your career aspirations? Do you think the experience and skills you will gain on your course will help you in your future career plans? In what way?

I aspire to continue working in the consulting sector after graduation. The course has given me a broader understanding and an array of tools to help me reach my professional goals.

If you are not from the UK, how was the transition to a foreign country? Did the University offer support or services that you found helpful? Can you offer any advice?

The international arrival team at the university helped a lot with the settling-in process. Arriving in a new environment during the pandemic and having to quarantine was difficult, but their assistance with pick-up and delivery of the welcome kit was very helpful.

What is your impression/experience of the facilities, the staff, your peers, the student union, the City of Leeds and the Yorkshire region?

Learning at the University of Leeds gives you not only access to great learning facilities but an opportunity to interact with peers from different cultures and staff from different backgrounds. Leeds is an exciting and great city to live in.

What would you say your defining memory of studying here was?

My personal defining memory will be the amount of support offered by the business school to the students. The Professional Development Tutor for Management Consulting has always been available to guide me with my career plans from the first induction meeting. Having that level of personalised assistance just an email away was very helpful.

Would you recommend the Business School to others who are considering studying here?

Yes, I would recommend the Business School to others because there really is something for everyone. The course catalogue is very rich, diverse and on-trend with the changing business world. The rich optional modules for the courses also allow you to add your personality to your course and achieve your career goals.
