An Inquiry into framing innovation.
Framing, Management Innovation, Technological Innovation, Healthcare, Organisation, Cognition, Interpretive, Sensemaking.
My research advocates the development of theories and models which are specific to the process and consequences of innovation types. New theories using the framing perspective can be developed if combined with those that have already been developed for other forms of innovation. The role of technological innovation for organisation is undeniable but management innovation serves as a precondition for successful implementation of technological innovation and is an untapped source of organisational effectiveness. I am looking to work with new and existing frames to identify the role internal and external play in shaping the process of innovation in healthcare context.
