For degrees requiring AAA at A-level: 
The Vitnemål - grunnskolen (Leaving Certificate from Lower Secondary School) is acceptable in place of GCSE Maths. A grade of 6 is required in Maths for GCSE A/7, and grade 5 for GCSE B/5. Alternatively, a grade of 4 in Maths for the Vitnemål - videregående opplæring (VVO) is acceptable.

The VVO (Upper Secondary Leaving Certificate) is acceptable for entry onto our degree programmes with a grade of 4.5 overall, with 5 in three subjects and 4 in English Language. The certificate must be endorsed ‘generell studiekompetanse’.
