For degrees requiring AAA or AAB at A level: The Secondary School Diploma of all provinces/territories (excluding Quebec, where the DEC is required) are acceptable for entry onto our degree courses.

It must have been taught and assessed in person and on-campus, and not conducted via an online platform.

 

Additional guidance for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) which will be considered if taught in-person and on-campus at either;

• A school within the province of Ontario in Canada authorised to award the full OSSD.

• One of the 19 brick-and-mortar international schools approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Check the International schools link below.

• Rosedale Global High School partner schools.

Awarding schools must be listed on the Canadian Ontario Government website as a school authorised to award OSSD credits:

Private schools

International schools

Students undertaking OSSD outside of Canada at a school not listed will not be considered.

 

Ontario: An overall average of 80% in 6 Grade 12 University or University/College preparation courses, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus and 75% in English Language.

British Columbia: An overall average of 80% in 5 Grade 12 subjects, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus or Pre-Calculus and 70% in English Language, English Studies or Communications.

Quebec: An overall average of 80% in 5 DEC (Diplôme d’Études Collégiales) subjects, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus and 75% in English Language.

Nova Scotia: An overall average of 80% in 5 Grade 12 subjects, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus or Pre-Calculus and 75% in English Language.

All other provinces/territories: An overall average of 80% in 5 Grade 12 subjects, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus and 75% in English Language.

 

For applicants applying for degree courses requiring GCSE grade B/5 in Mathematics who are not taking Calculus or Pre-Calculus, then other Mathematics modules may be considered. Please contact the Admissions Team LUBSUGAdmissions@leeds.ac.uk for further information.
