Tell us about your degree - why did you choose it? What elements of the degree inspired you to study it?
The course had an interdisciplinary element so I was able to broaden my knowledge.


What was the best part of your studies here? What did you enjoy the most?
I had a wonderful transition from pure economics towards environmental domain which inspired me largely to continue studying through my PhD.


What were your career aspirations when you arrived? Do you think the experience and skills you gained here will help/helped you in your future career plans? In what way?
Yes, my degree in Ecological Economics helped me enter the environmental research field which further inspired me to continue my research afterwards.


Where are you currently working, and what is your role?
I am about to finish my PhD in Ecological Economics at the University of East Anglia. I recently published a paper on the Atmospheric Environment. 


What are your ambitions for the future?
I am currently applying for a senior editor position at Nature which is a world leading scientific journal.


Do you think your experience and skills gained here will help you in your future career plans? In what way?
My experience at the business school gave me a good knowledge of economics which serves as a foundation for my studies in my PhD at East Anglia University. It also facilitated my interdisciplinary research in ecological economics.
