Masters funding

There are many ways to fund your postgraduate studies. Many students seek funding from a variety of sources including university scholarships, loans, sponsors or external funding bodies. Find out more about the different types of funding available.

Masters scholarships

Leeds University Business School offers a range of scholarships for students applying to our Masters courses each year.

Scholarships are either open to all applicants (from anywhere in the world), or specify that they are for UK applicants, or international (including EU) applicants, based on fee status.

We’re offering up to 50 Business School Excellence Scholarships to UK and International students starting one of our Masters courses in 2024. These scholarships offer a 50% fee deduction and will be awarded to particularly deserving applicants who demonstrate excellent academic, professional and personal achievements.

UK

Title Summary
Business School Masters Excellence Scholarships (UK applicants) Our Masters Excellence Scholarships are awarded to particularly deserving applicants to Business Masters programmes. These competitive scholarships offer a 50% fee deduction and are awarded to UK applicants (determined by fee status).
Postgraduate loan If you are a UK national you may be able to apply for a government-backed loan to fund a Masters degree.

International only

Business School International Excellence Scholarships (International applicants) Our Business School International Excellence Scholarships support international students (including EU) to fulfil their academic potential and contribute to the social and cultural diversity of our student community. These competitive scholarships are awarded to particularly deserving candidates in the form of a 50% deduction of the full tuition fee.
Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for MSc Economics Scholarships for applicants from Commonwealth countries wishing to pursue one-year taught Masters in Economics at Leeds University Business School.
Masters in Accounting and Finance Scholarship in partnership with Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok Two scholarships are available to students from Chulalongkorn University starting an eligible, full-time Masters degree at Leeds University Business School in 2024/25.
Masters in Accounting and Finance Scholarship in partnership with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv One scholarship is available to a student from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv starting an eligible, full-time Masters degree at Leeds University Business School in 2024/25.
