How did you hear about the Business School and why did you choose to study here?
I heard about Leeds University Business School from friends who are alumni of the School. They strongly recommended the Business School based on their own experiences. I chose to study here partly because of these personal recommendations. When researching, I was also impressed by the reputation of Leeds University Business School, the rankings at institutional and school level and in particular the strengths of my chosen program of study. My Masters degree is MSc Economics and Finance, and I have found both the Economics and the Finance teaching on the course to be very high quality.
What is the best part of your studies? What are you enjoying the most?
The best part of my studies is the balance between exposure to new, inspirational learning and teaching and the opportunity to deepen my understanding of key concepts at Postgraduate level. I have also been voted as Student Representative of the Economics division, which is an honour. I am very glad to have the opportunity to represent my fellow students and to do my part for the Business School community.
What are your career aspirations? Do you think the experience and skills you will gain on your course will help you in your future career plans? In what way?
Yes, I know the skills I am gaining on my course will certainly help me in my future career plans in the world of Economics and Finance. There are many opportunities - I will report back!
