How did you hear about the Business School and why did you choose to study here?

I heard about Leeds University Business School from some of my Bangladeshi friends who studied here last year and also from the University website. I learnt that the Business School is one of the best in UK and I set my mind to study here.

What is the best part of your studies? What are you enjoying the most?

Learning new things everyday, both new areas and building on the foundations of my undergraduate knowledge. I really enjoy the class environment, especially attending classes with students from different parts of the world.

What are your career aspirations? Do you think the experience and skills you will gain on your course will help you in your future career plans? In what way?

Definitely, I believe that this program will help me to move further towards my career. I am an academician in my career and I do believe that these contents can help me to gain an in-depth knowledge of economics which I can apply to my own research areas and at the same time I will be able to provide proper ideas among my students.

What is your impression/experience of the facilities, the staff, your peers, the student union, the City of Leeds and the Yorkshire region?

I love Leeds. The Student Union is one of the largest in UK and the University is situated in an ideal location. The city centre is not very far from the main campus – it’s a buzzing city centre which provides all sorts of services you need. I love it.

What would you say your defining memory of studying here was? (eg friendships made, confidence in your abilities, or any single event that you will always remember?)

I will be remembering the night life of the Leeds City Centre which is marvellous – and in particular light night.

Would you recommend the Business School to others who are considering studying here?

Definitely, if they want to build a better future, Leeds University Business School is an excellent option.
