How did you hear about the Business School and why did you choose to study here?
I chose the Business School because it had a triple accreditation and it offered such a diverse range of business programs that I couldn't really find in other universities. The ranking of Leeds University Business School was really high and also I was offered a scholarship which convinced me to make Leeds my firm choice!
What is the best part of your studies? What are you enjoying the most?
The best part of studying for me lies in getting to know people from different cultures and celebrating diversity. I really like communicating with and learning from students from other cultures - and having a better outlook on things I hadn’t considered in the past. For instance, during seminars and working in groups, I have realized how different the thinking style is between us, so I started applying broader thinking while solving problems and looking into case studies. This for me is the essence of studying abroad at an international, diverse University.
What are your career aspirations? Do you think the experience and skills you will gain on your course will help you in your future career plans? In what way?
My long-term goal is to peruse a PhD and be a professor in my country. Thus, for me, earning this Masters degree is a milestone towards my future career. In this particular course I have learnt a lot of practical consultancy methods and frameworks which I want to apply in academia and also later for opening my own consultancy business.
