- Summary: Undergraduate entry requirements for students studying AP exams.
For degrees requiring AAA or AAB at A-level: For USA domiciled applicants; we require the High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0, plus at least one externally assessed qualification (Advanced Placement (AP), SAT II Subject Test, Dual Enrolment/College course). Plus two more qualifications from any combination of AP, SAT II, Honors class (part of the High School Diploma), or an external Dual Enrolment/College course.
Note for applicants taking American qualifications in other countries, we require:
Applicants must achieve a minimum of three subjects in AP exams with grades of 4 or 5, dependant on subjects assessed. Please note that this requirement excludes the courses AP Seminar and AP Research.
English Language requirements for all applicants:
Our minimum English Language requirement may be met by:
- A minimum ACT score of 28 in English/Reading/Writing
- A minimum SATR test score of 700 in Evidence-based Reading/Writing
- A minimum SAT Subject Test score of 650 in Literature
- A minimum AP grade of 3 in English Language and Composition
- Achieving the required scores in a separate English Language qualification
Mathematics requirements for all applicants:
Our minimum Mathematics requirement may be met by:
- A minimum ACT score of 28 in Mathematics
- A minimum SATR test score of 670 in Mathematics
- A minimum SAT Subject Test score of 650 in Mathematics
- A minimum AP grade of 3 in Calculus AB or Calculus BC
