  • Summary: Undergraduate entry requirements for students studying the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)

For degrees requiring AAA at A level: The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM Certificate of Education) is acceptable in place of GCSE Mathematics. A grade of B is required in Mathematics for GCSE grade B/5 or an A- for grade A/7.

For English Language, a CEFR C1 overall with at least B2 in each component is required.

The Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM Malaysia Higher School Certificate) is acceptable in place of A levels. Applicants must achieve grades of AAA.

The Senior Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) is acceptable for entry with grades of A2 A2 A2 A2 A2 for degrees requiring AAA at A Level, or with grades of A2 A2 A2 A2 B3 for degrees requiring AAB at A Level.

To include a minimum grade B3 in Mathematics if not already met via another qualification. A separate English Language qualification is required.

 

A Diploma in Accountancy, Business, Finance or Management from a Public University will be considered for first year entry only. A GPA of 3.5 will be accepted for degrees requiring AAA at A Level, or a GPA of 3.2 for degrees requiring AAB at A Level.

Mathematics must be met via High School. English Language must be met via High School or an acceptable English Language qualification

 

The HELP University programmes; Diploma in Business, Bachelor in Accounting, Bachelor in International Business, Bachelor in Marketing, Bachelor of Business, or Bachelor of Economics will be considered for direct entry to Year 2 for some of our courses.
