- Summary: Undergraduate entry requirements for students studying the General Secondary Certificate (or Baccalauréat Libanais )
For degrees requiring AAA or AAB at A level: The General Secondary Certificate (or Baccalaureat Libanais) is acceptable in place of GCSE Mathematics. A grade of 70% is required in Mathematics for GCSE grade B/5 and 75% for grade A/7.
For entry onto our degree programmes applicants are required to take an International Foundation Year programme such as the Leeds Foundation Year, the International Baccalaureate Diploma or A levels. A separate English Language qualification is required.
The International Arab Baccalaureate (IAB) is also acceptable for entry:
For degrees requiring AAA at A level: 93% overall grade
For degrees requiring AAB at A level: 90% overall grade
