- Summary: Undergraduate entry requirements for students studying the Secondary School Diploma (DEC is required in Quebec)
For degrees requiring AAA or AAB at A level: The Secondary School Diploma of all provinces/territories (excluding Quebec, where the DEC is required) are acceptable for entry onto our degree programmes.
Please note that for applicants studying outside Canada; teaching must be conducted in person on-campus, and study conducted via an online platform is only considered if undertaken due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
Ontario: An overall average of 80% in 6 Grade 12 University or University/College preparation courses, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus and 75% in English Language.
British Columbia: An overall average of 80% in 5 Grade 12 subjects, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus or Pre-Calculus and 70% in English Language, English Studies or Communications.
Quebec: An overall average of 80% in 5 DEC (Diplôme d’Études Collégiales) subjects, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus and 75% in English Language.
Nova Scotia: An overall average of 80% in 5 Grade 12 subjects, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus or Pre-Calculus and 75% in English Language.
All other provinces/territories: An overall average of 80% in 5 Grade 12 subjects, including a minimum of 75% in Calculus and 75% in English Language.
For applicants applying for degree programmes requiring GCSE grade B/5 in Mathematics who are not taking Calculus or Pre-Calculus, then other Mathematics modules may be considered. Please contact the Admissions Team LUBSUGAdmissions@leeds.ac.uk for further information.
