Application process

After submitting your online application form, your application will go through the following stages:

Stage 1: Initial application review We review your MBA application form and supporting documents (essay questions, approved English language test, etc.) to consider the strength of your application across all areas.
Stage 2: Interview The interview is an important and compulsory part of our admissions process, enabling us to assess your suitability for the Leeds MBA. You need to demonstrate your motivation to do the programme, your knowledge of what the Leeds MBA has to offer, and how you will contribute positively to the programme. You will be interviewed face-to-face where possible on campus, or by phone or Skype.
Stage 3: Decision The MBA Admissions team makes a final decision after your interview. We consider all our entry criteria when evaluating your application, as well as your post-MBA career goals and whether the Leeds MBA is likely to help you fulfil them.
Stage 4: Accepting your offer Once you receive your offer letter, you normally have four to six weeks to accept and confirm your place. You need to provide original or certified copies of your supporting documents before or at registration.
Stage 5: Coming to Leeds The start date for 2019 entry is Monday 16 September 2019. You will receive full registration details before your arrival. The first two weeks is the MBA induction, which introduces you to your life in Leeds, the Business School environment and the MBA. The induction is compulsory and vitally important. We recommend that you arrive in Leeds at least one week before your induction to allow you to settle into your new home.
