Since graduating with an MBA from Leeds University Business School in 2022, Abhilash has continued to build an impressive career in management consulting. He now works as a Senior Management Consultant – Strategic Advisory at Mott MacDonald, leading high-value transformation programmes across the Europe and North America region. Alongside his professional achievements, Abhilash was shortlisted for the Bright Mind Awards from more than 200,000 submissions and has been selected to represent India at the BRICS Summit, recognising his passion for developing practical solutions to complex challenges.

Career update

“I am currently a Senior Management Consultant – Strategic Advisory at Mott MacDonald, where I lead and manage diverse, high-value and complex assignments across multiple sectors within the Europe and North America region. My work focuses on delivering strategic change, stakeholder engagement, business strategy and transformation outcomes for large-scale infrastructure and public sector programmes.

Alongside my consulting career, I was honoured to be shortlisted for the Bright Mind Awards, where my proposal to address transport congestion in metropolitan India was recognised from more than 200,000 submissions. I have also been selected to represent India at the BRICS Summit, where I look forward to engaging with global leaders and learning from a diverse range of perspectives.

I am also proud to be part of the Leaders in Residence network at the University of Leeds, where I engage with students and share practical insights from industry. It has been a particularly rewarding experience, allowing me to support the next generation of professionals as they begin their own career journeys.
