Seminar Series on Grand Challenges in South Asia

The aim of this seminar series is to foster high-level discussions on grand challenges (e.g. sustainability, migration, SDGs, health care) in South Asia.
We want to connect the best academic minds with corporate partners and the public sector, bringing together foresight of grand challenges in South Asia with an in-depth understanding of business challenges.
“Grand Challenges in South Asia” is a seminar series organised by the James E. Lynch India & South Asia Business Centre at the University of Leeds. We invite renowned speakers to debate approaches to tackling grand challenges in South Asia and explore the role of Businesses (MNEs and SMEs), governments, policymakers and NGOs in addressing significant Challenges in South Asia. The format is a series of short talks followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
The theme of the second panel on Grand Challenges in South Asia is “Environmental Sustainability in South Asian Textile & Garments Industry”.
