Professor Chee Yew Wong appointed Editor-in-Chief of key international journal
Professor Chee Yew Wong was recently appointed as new Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management by Emerald.
IJPDLM strives to provide authors and the community with "best in class" service through timeliness and fairness in the review process, with an emphasis on inclusivity and fostering meaningful research impact. The Journal provides business practitioners, policy makers, consultants and academics with leading edge information and discussion of current developments in the field. It facilitates the interchange of information among stakeholders across the globe, whilst providing a platform for new insights on problems and techniques related to all facets of supply chain management.
IJPDLM seeks strategically focused, theoretically grounded, empirical, and conceptual, quantitative, and qualitative original research studies in logistics, physical distribution, purchasing, operations and supply chain management, and associated strategic issues.
Professor Wong thanks Professor Alexander Ellinger from the University of Alabama, who had held this position for nine years (2010-2019), Professor Glenn Richey Jr, who co-edited the journal with Professor Ellinger (2010-2013), and Professor Benjamin Hazen, from Air Force Institute, who held this position from 2019, for their dedication and hard work in making the journal one of the leading journals in logistics and supply chain management, as demonstrated by its rankings and impact metrics. Professor Wong and his board of editors are committed to providing authors and the community with the "best in class" service they anticipate.
