Profile
I am a PhD candidate at the Leeds University Business School. My academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Agri-Business from Ladoke Akintola University, Nigeria, followed by a Master’s in Management from the University of Leeds. Before commencing my PhD, I have worked with several organisations in the UK including GE Money, BSkyB, Barclays and Lloyds Banking Group where I gained work experience. These experiences deepened my interest in how employees share and manage knowledge ultimately motivating my pursuit of a PhD.
Academic Conferences
Presented a developmental paper in Knowledge and learning at the British Academy of Management conference 2016.
Presented findings from the fieldwork of research at Exploring critical-theoretical perspectives to the study of social media in organisations - European Conference on Information Systems - ECIS 2019.

Research interests
My research interests lie in knowledge sharing within organisations among employees, trying to understand how day -to -day activities occur, what are the challenges they face during such activities and how recommendations for change can be proposed with particular emphasis on small and medium sized enterprises. Knowledge management, Information management, ICT for development, are also research interests especially in developing economies. Understanding the impact of cultural, environmental and technological factors that influence how knowledge is shared.
