Profile

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Analytics, Technology, and Operations (ATOD) at the University of Leeds Business School (LUBS). I joined the University of Leeds in January 2023, after completing an MSc in Digital Economy at King’s College London in September 2022. My master’s studies provided me with a solid understanding of digital technologies and sparked my interest in exploring their broader societal impacts, particularly on organisational strategy. Building on these interests, I embarked on doctoral research.

My PhD project focuses on the algorithmic governance and strategic dynamics of E-hailing platforms in China, examining how algorithms shape platform management, driver experiences, and governance mechanisms.

Research interests

My research interests are diverse, covering various areas of information systems management, including platform ecosystems, digital technology–human interaction, algorithmic power, and digital innovation. Additionally, I have a strong interest in organisational strategy and am especially passionate about connecting the fields of information systems and strategy. Using this perspective, my work examines the governance aspects of digital technologies, with particular emphasis on platform governance and algorithmic governance.

Here is a list of my research publications.
