Profile
Farzana Riva is a postgraduate researcher (PGR) at Leeds University Business School (LUBS). She completed her M.Phil degree from Bangladesh University of Professionals, Bangladesh. Moreover, she completed an MBA and BBA both from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh major in marketing with CGPA 3.92 and 3.86 respectively on a scale of 4. For her academic excellence, she received UGC (University Grants Commission) Merit Scholarship, Deans Honor Award. Before joining as a PGR at the University of Leeds, Farzana had been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing at Bangladesh University of Professionals. She worked as the research director of three research projects, funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh and Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), Bangladesh.
Research interests
Farzana Riva is interested in focussing her research on green marketing, environmental sustainability, political marketing, and the circular economy in the context of the emerging economy in Bangladesh. For her PhD, she is studying the antecedents of sustainability performance in the emerging economy context.
