Rafid Ur Rahman


Rafid is a Post Graduate Researcher-PhD Candidate at Leeds University Business School. His research is fully-funded and supported by the Marketing Divisional Scholarship of the University of Leeds. Rafid holds an MSc. International Marketing Management with Distinction from the University of Leeds.

Before his MSc. Rafid has worked extensively as a Marketing Professional at Dentsu Aegis Network. He was responsible for digital marketing applications and analysis for clients such as Vimplecom, Sony DADC, and Uniqlo. Rafid has gained training and professional conditioning from Airbus, EADS (Hamburg, Germany) and Google Launchpad Space (California, USA).

Research interests

Rafid research interests focus on Consumers Based Strategy, Brand Identity Congruence, and Antecedents Consumers’ Decision Patterns. He addresses research questions with the framing of comparative analysis between the emerging market and developed market. Moreover, Rafid’s interest lies in finding the distinctiveness of consumers based on Consumer Privilege and Country Development.
