Alumna named in Leeds & West Yorkshire Top 30 Under 30

Becky Holmes (Management 2020), Senior Social Strategist at Channel 4, has been named in the Leeds & West Yorkshire Top 30 under 30 list.

The awards, now in their sixth year, recognises individuals who have significantly contributed to organisations across the region and showcases, celebrates, and supports the best up and coming talent. As part of being named on the list, winners will also receive 12 months of development in line with the Leadership Excellence Acceleration Programme (LEAP), equipping each winner with the skillset to become a more effective leader.

Becky started at Channel 4 as an Assistant Social Media Manager. In being named on the list, Becky was recognised for her professionalism and diligence, as well as showing excellent leadership skills which have helped her to progress to her current role. She was recognised for her extensive knowledge in the branded space, from initial internal meetings through to publishing, optimising and reporting on all branded assets.

As a former student, Becky is also no stranger to the Leeds University Business School campus, regularly returning to campus as part of the Leaders in Residence programme to support students. Becky was most recently on campus last December, delivering a guest lecture on managing social media in 2025.
