University ‘Positive Impact Award’ Success

Congratulations to Economics Divisional Assistant, Helen Greaves, who has won the Positive Impact Award at the University of Leeds Partnership Awards 2018.
The annual Leeds Partnership Awards recognises and celebrates the achievements, commitments and impact of students, staff, and postgraduate researchers at the University.
Helen was shortlisted for the University-wide Leeds Partnership Awards, after successfully winning the Positive Impact Award at the Business School Partnership Awards. A representative from Leeds University Union commented that "Helen had received numerous nominations for the Positive Impact award with remarkably positive comments and feedback. Her organisational skills are exceptional, her willingness to take intelligent initiatives unparalleled. She is competent, dependable, imaginative and efficient - all, unfailingly, with a smile!"
Helen commented:
The Economics Division is such a great place to work: my colleagues are extremely supportive and were very kind to nominate me! Economics students and staff are a group of wonderful, hard-working people doing interesting, worthwhile and innovative work. They all deserve awards – I’m really proud to be part of the division.
