Her investigations encompass an understanding of how socially responsible banks enhance access to financial services from an evolutionary perspective. Further, her research around SME Finance explores the problems that small firms face accessing investment capital and increasing their productivity. In this line, she is currently working on ESRC productivity project: Understanding how constraints on access to finance and under-investment impact on productivity growth in smaller firms-with a focus on equity finance ( venture capital and private equity).
