Students use the Bloomberg database in Esther Simpson building

To support the creation of impactful research, and provide a learning and teaching environment to match, the Accounting and Finance Department has invested in an excellent provision of databases.

This in-depth range of access is supported by a team of dedicated Data Research Officers responsible for managing and maintaining our databases and educating end-users in the use of database resources. These specially trained academic researchers are on hand to assist staff and students with database-specific knowledge and access techniques.

In addition, the School is proud to host two state-of-the-art, fully-equipped financial trading rooms, boasting a full suite of Bloomberg and Refinitive (TR) Eikon/Refinitive (TR) Datastream terminals.
