Alumni reconnect and rekindle memories in Kuala Lumpur

The Business School hosted an alumni networking and social event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in November.

Stephen Pigott, our International Marketing Manager, hosted an informal networking evening where alumni could socialise over refreshments at the Parkroyal Collection Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. This gave our alumni the chance to reconnect, reminisce about their time at Leeds and share stories about where their lives had taken them since graduating.

Attending alumni represented a variety of postgraduate programmes from a range of graduating years between 1999 and 2019. One attendee, now based in Singapore even made the journey back to Kuala Lumpur to join the event.

Stephen said, “It was fantastic to meet with the Malaysian alumni who joined us. They’ve all gone on to have brilliant careers in a broad range of areas including accounting and finance and various entrepreneurial ventures.”
