From EDI to Sense of Belonging – Bridging the Gap through Ubuntu

This free online webinar is open to University of Leeds alumni, students and staff members

In this webinar, Dr. Kendi Guantai will draw from her research and experience to discuss the shift in emphasis from equality/equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), to sense of belonging.
Taking a solutions focused approach, she will share tips on how EDI and belonging initiatives can create greater value for organisations and deliver meaningful, sustainable change, underpinned by the African spirit of Ubuntu.
Join us for an authentic conversation about why belonging matters, as we ask:
- How do we create more authentic enterprises?
- What does sense of belonging look/feel like for a diverse and disparate workforce?
- How can we effectively address practices and structures that undermine sense of belonging among members of our workforce?

Please join Dr Kendi Guantai, Senior Teaching Fellow, Leeds University Business School at 13:00 (BST) on Zoom.

Zoom access information will be sent after registration, 2 hours before the event and 10 minutes before the event. If you have difficulty receiving the Zoom link, please contact alumni@lubs.leeds.ac.uk.
