Leeds University Business School improves position in Global Shanghai Ranking

The Business School has been ranked 5th in the world, and first in the UK for Business Administration in the 2025 Shanghai Ranking.

Climbing from 6th globally in 2024.

Published annually since 2009, the ranking is part of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). The 2025 results are based on papers published in top tier journals, citations and collaborations.

The rankings are an endorsement of the School’s research-intensive credentials that underpin our learning and teaching, and are a reflection of the research excellence that exposes students to the latest management thinking and practice.
