When is the application deadline?
The application deadline for international applicants is 30th June in the year you wish to commence studies. For UK/EU applicants the deadline is 31st August in the year you wish commence studies.

It usually takes around 3-4 days to assess an application and provide you with an email confirmation in the first instance of the outcome.

Are your programmes validated by the European Credit Transfer System?
Yes, all of the degree programmes at the University of Leeds are validated in this way, including our distance learning courses. Currently, one University of Leeds credit is equal to 0.5 credits on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Therefore, the Postgraduate Certificate in GIS is equal to 30 ECTS, the Postgraduate Diploma in GIS is equal to 60 ECTS, and the full MSc in GIS totals 90 ECTS.
