Profile

Kristen Cabrera, our Relationship Manager, supports the professional development and lifelong learning of business professionals, having gained broad experience in various universities during her career. 

After completing a degree in Family Science at the University of Maryland, USA, Kristen was drawn to working in higher education – a calling that led her to the University of Glasgow in the UK to undertake a Master’s in Educational Studies. 

A move back to the US followed, where Kristen worked as Assistant Director of Admissions at George Washington University. She then returned to the University of Maryland, accepting the position of Program Coordinator of Admissions and Advising. 

Kristen’s extensive experience made her a perfect fit for this role. She was the first point of contact for all students, providing advice and guidance from the admissions process all the way through to their graduation. She also developed and taught courses within Public Health Science, supporting students with their academic success and professional development.  

After moving back to the UK in 2022, Kristen’s highly developed skills and experience were recognised by Leeds University Business School, where she accepted her current role of Relationship Manager within Executive Education. 

Kristen oversees the admissions and recruitment process of the Leeds Executive Leadership Apprenticeship (LELA), as well as the Masters in Executive Leadership that is available for students after the programme. Kristen is also working on an additional apprenticeship programme being developed specifically for NHS workers starting in 2025.
