Panagiotis Stamolampros quoted in New York Times

Leeds University Business School's Panagiotis Stamolampros is quoted in the New York Times.

On 29 May 2019 Panagiotis Stamolampros, Lecturer in Business Analytics and member of the Centre for Decision Research was quoted in the New York Times questioning whether we should trust online reviewers with our purchasing decisions.

The article entitled How Much Do You Trust Online Reviews? looked to investigate the reliability of these ‘super-passionate’ people who are shaping so much of how we spend our money.

Panagiotis commented that research on reviewers is limited, but “what we know for sure is that extroverted and open individuals tend to engage more in social media, and they are also expected to be more involved with online reviews.”
