Wanji Wu

Profile

Wanji Wu is a PhD student in the Accounting and Finance Division at Leeds University Business School since October 2021. Prior to this, he obtained his Masters degrees in Finance and Business from the University of Glasgow, UK and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China respectively.

Research interests

Wanji's primary research areas are empirical corporate finance, behavioural finance, and political economy in finance. His current work investigates how individual-level (firm-level) political ideology affects corporate decision-making and firm performance, particularly within the realm of the venture capital industry.
