2021 CERIC Annual Doctoral Conference - Call for Papers
The Centre for Employment Relations, Innovation and Change (CERIC) warmly invites postgraduate researchers at all stages to the 2021 CERIC Doctoral Conference, to be held on Friday 21st of May 2021.
The Centre for Employment Relations, Innovation and Change (CERIC), based at the University of Leeds is one of the largest interdisciplinary groups of social scientists working in the field of work and employment in the UK. CERIC warmly invites postgraduate researchers at all stages to the 2021 CERIC Doctoral Conference, to be held online on Friday 21st May 2021.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘The Future of Work in a Post-Covid World’. Covid-19 has sparked radical shifts in living and working habits and brought about an unprecedented shift online of people's day-to-day lives. As we face the ongoing impact of the pandemic, its toll on individuals, organizations and society are yet to be understood and examined thoroughly. To this end, this conference welcomes abstracts for oral presentations from a broad spectrum of disciplines covering aspects related to:
1) The impact of digitalization on work and employment
2) Inequalities (race, gender, class, (dis)ability) in a post-Covid world
3) The role of human resources management in a changing environment
Additionally, we welcome abstracts from disciplines covering, but not limited to: Education, Power, Income, Health, which intersect with work and employment.
The deadline for abstract submission of up to 300 words is Monday, 19th April 2021 (notification of acceptance will be sent by Friday 30th April).

CERIC is pleased to award three prizes, consisting of £300 for first place, £200 for second place, and £100 for third place to cover attendance at a leading online conference of the PhD students’ choice.
