Profile

Since joining the University of Leeds in 2019 I have been interested using analytical methods to support decision making in business and I am an author of the textbook “Smart Decisions: A Structured Approach to Decsion Analysis Using MCDA”. It offers practical insights and strategies for making informed and effective choices. Whether you're a student, professional, or simply intrigued by the decision-making process, this book aims to enhance your toolkit.

My PhD and post doctoral roles investigated the role that inflammation plays in Alzheimers disease and I have intergrated the statistical and data skills that I gained here into my teaching. I am also interested in utilising visual representation to convey complex information and investigating how we can take advantage of the way the brain naturally processes information. Subsequesntly I have created an undergraduate module that looks at both analysing data and creating optimal visualsations to present findings.
