Digital Education Manager responsibilities

As the Digital Education Manager, I am responsible for developing and implementing a faculty-wide strategy for digital education that aligns with the University's educational goals. I lead the Digital Education team, set priorities, and ensure the delivery of high-quality digital learning experiences. I collaborate with faculty leadership, academic staff, and partners to integrate digital technologies into the curriculum. I oversee the design and implementation of scalable digital education solutions to enhance student learning and engagement. Additionally, I establish processes for evaluating digital learning initiatives, advocate for digital education at the senior management level, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. I provide strategic leadership to a team of learning technologists, fostering a culture of continuous professional development and innovation. I also support professional development among academic staff and lead change management initiatives to enhance the adoption of digital education technologies across the faculty.

 

Director of Enhancement responsibilities

As the Director of Enhancement, I engage with peers and the wider external environment of innovation in Higher Education to provide informed expert leadership to the Faculty in teaching innovation and pedagogic research. I contribute to the development and achievement of University and School strategy within the area of teaching enhancement and innovation. I manage and lead major enhancement initiatives and areas of work related to both Curriculum Redefined and the LUBS Student Education Strategy. 

I support colleagues and departments in innovating their teaching practices and enhancing the delivery of student education. I identify and establish links with external partners to improve the quality of the School’s programmes and the student experience. I play a significant role in the design, development, review, and enhancement of modules and programmes.
