Front of House Receptionist

Main reception duties including meeting and greeting visitors and students. Directing to classrooms, lecture theatres, meeting rooms and other parts of the University. Answering the phone and directing calls to appropriate contacts.

Receiving post and courier deliveries.

Booking parking and keeping the diary up to date.

Maintaining the info@lubs mailbox and forwarding to appropriate areas within the School.

Updating the plasma screen in the reception area

Organising DHL deliveries

Covering problems, jobs and enquiries in the Reprographics department in the absence of the operator

Updating staff profiles on the Intranet.

Post room duties.

Ordering of Business cards and making up proofs through the online system.

Reporting building faults to Estates and chasing up repair problems.

I am a Mediator for Leeds University working for the Mediation Service which is available to all staff here at the University.
