Becky Mennell

Profile

I currently work in the Work & Employment Department with the support of my colleagues Will Collins (Departmental Admin Manager), Rachel Thorpe (Department Administrator) and Amelia Bradley-Newby (CERIC Project Officer).

My time at the Business School started in January 2021, where I was a part-time Receptionist, I moved to a role within the Facilities Team to cover Maternity Leave in August 2021. As a Faculty Facilities Assistant, I was responsible for supporting my line manager with ongoing projects around LUBS, ensuring maintenance and cleaning were monitored and assisting staff with information about the facilities LUBS has to offer.

I have experience in event planning, space management, data analysis, minute-taking and communications, to name a few. My current role primarily focuses on supporting our research colleagues with purchasing, travel, teaching, facilties, and departmental activities.
