Profile
Yiwen Zhang has been a postgraduate researcher in the Management and Organization Department at Leeds University Business School since October 2024. She previously obtained a Master degree in Data Analysis and Human Resource Management from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor degree in Software Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University in China. She also brings nearly four years of HR experience, having worked as a recruitment consultant and corporate HR professional, with expertise in talent sourcing, market research, and optimizing recruitment processes for Chinese enterprises.
Her PhD research project primarily focuses on how different types of work affect employee mental health.
Research interests
Her research interests center on the use of quantitative methods, with a particular focus on machine learning, to investigate work and employee wellbeing.
